Chemical burn caused by high-concentration hydrofluoric acid

A case that followed a lethal course

This case study delves into the case of a 57-year-old-man that sustained lower body injuries from splashes of Hydrofluoric Acid. Despite using calcium gluconate and deciding to amputate his leg to prevent systemic spreading of HFA, the patient died after 7 hours.

Cases like these can be prevented by introducing Hexafluorine® into the work place, making it safer for all.
